How to Get to an AI ChatBot
- Click on the Duck Duck Go Link (below)
- Click “Get Started”
- Click on any of the “Chat Models” (AI engines)
You can also go directly to an AI chatbot. ChatCPT is a good option, but you can there using DuckDuckGo (above). The advantage of using DuckDuckGo is that it prevents tracking, which can protect your privacy. (Never enter personal or private information about yourself with an AI Chatbot, as this information is not secure and the AI company can use it.)
How to Format Your Homework
- Use the Journal Notebook. This goes back and forth from school to home everyday. You may need it on any given day to complete your journal.
- Just copy the answer, not the prompt. You can cut words and make your answer shorter. Just focus on the point – simple and clear is almost always better.
- Be sure to start your answer with:
- According to [name of chatbot], “__________” (ZZ, XX, YY).
- It is okay to copy the AI’s answer, but you must be transparent and you must never pass it off as your own work (that’s cheating, that’s plagiarism, and that’s a big mistake in high school or college – and because it’s dishonest, it not a good idea even in life outside of school to copy without attribution).
- The initials above are to show who (if anyone) you worked with. Do this if you plan to copy each others’ work as a team. Copying is ok, but you must be transparent (show what you did).
