Next Week

Informal Progress Report – Coming Soon

  • The first informal progress report will be emailed home on Mar 4 (only if you have not completed the expository essay on time)

Catch Up Afternoons (Mar 5 and Mar 7)

  • If your expository essay is not completed on Mar 4, plan to work the afternoons on Mar 5 and Mar 7 (early release days) to finish the expository essay
  • You cannot complete the Mid Term exam until you have completed the expository essay (you will need to first finish the essay and then will make up the exam later)

Mid Term Exam Week – Coming Soon

  • The Mid Term Exam is Mar 11, 12/14, 13, and 15
  • There are three sections to the exam:
    • Learning Story (you must at least partially complete the expository essay, short story report, and poetry reflection report to write this part of the exam)
    • In-Class Writing Test (essay on the films – you must view all films to write this part of the exam)
    • Key Concepts (memorized portion of the exam)
