Teacher Inquiry Program (TIP)

The Teacher Inquiry Program (TIP) provides time and support for teachers to participate in a collaborative inquiry on our respective practices as professionals.

PRDTU members for this inquiry will focus on:

  • Building and supporting relationships with families
  • Connecting with First Nations students and families
  • Incorporating local First Nations content in our teaching

The dates for the inquiry are:

  • Dec. 9 All Day (PRDTU Office)
  • Feb. 6 AM (PRDTU Office)
  • Mar. 2 AM (PRDTU Office)
  • Apr. 22 AM (possible all day) (PRDTU Office)

About

Mr. Kertes is an English Language Arts teacher in Prince Rupert (Kxeen), in the territory of the Ts’msyen, at CHSS - home of the Rainmakers. The language of the Ts'msyen is Sm’algya̲x.
