Who:
- There are a maximum of 16 debaters on the team
- Attend the practice session on April 15 to confirm your space on the team
What:
- The Debate Team is for students who are interested in:
- Learning how to develop a strong argument
- Improving their research skills and constructive thinking skills
- Developing their speaking (on your feet) skills
- Policy, government, change, and power for the benefit of their community
- It is ideal for students who want to:
- Learn about law as a career
- Take English and other writing-intensive courses
- Run for elected office and be a leader for their community
- Work in a career in communications, business, or government

- Spring (regular season): April 8 to June 16
- Fall (to prepare for the Vancouver trip): September 9 to October 5
