How can teachers and other professionals work with families and the community to support safe spaces for kids and teens? What’s working? How can we improve? What matters to the youth themselves?
Listen to ideas and discuss specific next steps. Youth leaders will participate with teachers and other community members. This professional development learning circle is “action-orientated”: Learn, listen, collaborate, support students.
- Participants will discuss specific next steps and listen to ideas for how to support kids and teens now.
- Teachers, other SD52 staff, and community members are welcome (including teen leaders).
- There will be a lunch and a pre-event gathering to help teen leaders prepare for share their ideas.
